Rep. Melanie Stansbury, D-N.M., announced Tuesday that she will be the ranking member of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee.
“As a former OMB staffer, I know what government efficiency looks like. And, I will use every tool available to work across the aisle and combat policies that are harmful to Americans,” Stansbury said in a post to X on Tuesday.
Democrat Reps. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., Greg Casar, D-Texas, and Jasmine Crocket, D-Texas, will also be joining the subcommittee, The Hill reported.
